Promote your website internationally without having to translate it!

How does it work?

Let’s take the case scenario of a website needing to promote its presence in Japan:

– We will create a Facebook Fan Page for your website in Japanese. It is advisable to feature between 350 to 500 words for your company’s profile. This text should be considered as an introduction to your website stating what you have to offer, how long you have been in business etc.

Such corporate profile allows you also to define your language(s) of operation.

For example, if you wish to only communicate in English, at bottom of your Japanese Facebook Fan Page, we could translate the following sentence into Japanese:

“When visiting www.our-Website.com, expect a content in English, additionally, all communication should be addressed in English as well”.

The fact that someone in Japan will type your keywords in Japanese on the Japanese Google or on Facebook in Japanese, does not mean that such person does not speak English! There are millions of people around the world who speak English, but who cannot find your website since over 99% of them conduct their searches using YOUR keywords in their mother tongue.

In this example, someone in Japan searching on Facebook in Japanese, or conducting a search on the Japanese Google using YOUR keywords in Japanese, will find your Japanese Facebook Fan Page, which has been optimized with your Japanese keywords.

More than just a Facebook Fan Page, we deliver a fully Optimized Facebook Fan Page:

When creating a new Facebook Fan Page, Facebook initially gives you an address similar to this one:

www.facebook.com/pages/YOURNAME/272780036110915?skip_nax_wizard=true&sk=page_getting_started

Such Facebook Fan Page is not indexable by Google and other major search engines.

It needs to receive 25 ‘Likes’ in order to be allowed to change its address to: www.facebook.com/YOURNAME

Only at this junction, can your Facebook Fan Page be indexable by Google (usually, it will have better rankings than your own website – see FAQ # 5)

www.facebook.com/YOURNAME is also eligible for full optimization with your keywords and meta-tags.

We deliver Facebook Fan Pages after popularizing them with 25 ‘Likes’, renaming them with an upgraded indexable Facebook URL, and complementing our work with the optimization of your Facebook Fan Pages with your keywords and meta-tags, configured according to the rules & regulations of each language.

1. What is the procedure after I sign up?

Upon reception of your online transaction/order, you will be contacted within one (1) business day by our processing department.

You will be asked to write a company’s profile (up to 500 words). Such profile/text should be enriched with your keywords. It is the text/information which we will translate for your multilingual Facebook Fan Pages or that we will use for your profile in English.

Your campaign manager will give you important tips/recommendations in regards to the content of your company’s profile.

Important: We advise you against writing your company’s profile before being contacted by our processing department. In fact, depending on the languages chosen, we might advise you to include specific information to enhance the cultural correctness of your Facebook Fan Pages (when it comes to promoting your website on an international scale through multilingual Facebook Fan Pages, respecting the cultural protocol of the targeted countries/languages is crucial in regards to the quality & quantity of the traffic which you will receive).

At this junction, you may send to us your keyword input (optional). Please note that we will use keywords which you will provide us as a guideline only – in fact, considering that keywords rarely translate literally, we will anyway conduct an in-depth keyword analysis for each language. However, your keyword feedback might greatly enhance our ability to deliver better results on your behalf.

In other terms, you will be only asked to draft a small text and provide us with keyword feedback (optional).

Please note that as a courtesy, we can draft your company’s profile information based on your website’s information or any other information that you may want to provide us with (service free of charge for companies located in countries where English is not the official language).

Upon reception of your information, we will translate it and create unique multilingual Facebook Fan Pages according to each language:

Facebook.com/NameArabic,
Facebook.com/NameSpanish,
Facebook.com/NameFrench,
Facebook.com/NameChinese,
Facebook.com/NameJapanese,
Facebook.com/NameRussian,
etc. etc. etc (each Facebook Fan Page accounts for one language).

We then popularize each of your pages by giving them 25 legitimate ‘Likes’ thus allowing us to rename such pages to be fully indexable URLs such as: www.Facebook.com/YourName

After such unique URLs have been generated, we then optimize the source code of your Facebook Fan Pages.

2. How long does it take you to process an order and deliver the work?

After reception of your information (company’s profile information), we guarantee a 15 to 20 business days turnaround.

3. What is the difference between a Facebook Fan Page and a Facebook profile?

A Facebook profile is for individuals only, whereas Facebook Fan Pages enable businesses and organizations to create a public presence on Facebook. Contrary to your profile, Facebook Fan Pages are viewable/visible by everyone on the Internet by default. Anyone can connect with such page by becoming a fan in order to receive updates/information.

4. What is the difference between a startup regular Facebook Fan Page and the Optimized Facebook Fan Page which I will receive?

After setting up fan pages for your business, Facebook gives you a lengthy and temporary URL similar to this one:

www.facebook.com/pages/Name/272780036110915?skip_nax_wizard=true&sk=page_getting_started

It is important to mention that such fan page cannot be indexed by Google nor by any major search engine.

Facebook Fan Pages must receive at least 25 ‘Likes’ in order to be allowed/eligible to rename their URL to:

www.facebook.com/NameBusiness

At this stage of development, your Facebook Fan Pages become not only eligible for indexation with all major search engines, but it also gives us the leverage to optimize your Facebook Fan Pages with your keywords.

We do more than just setting up your Facebook Fan Pages: we popularize them with 25 ‘Likes’, rename URLs and optimize our work according to the rules and regulations of each language. You will receive fully operational Facebook Fan Pages.

5. Why my Facebook Fan Pages might have more ranking eligibility on Google than my own website itself?

The Facebook Fan Pages related to your keywords and the name of your company might rank higher than your own website in most cases (even if you currently enjoy top rankings).

In fact, due to the popularity of Facebook, major search engines (mainly based on Google technology) index and rank Facebook Fan Pages on the first page of the search results.

In many cases, when typing the name of a renowned company on Google, its Facebook Fan Page shows up next to the listing of the main website:

i.e. When googling “HP”, Facebook.com/HP shows up on the first page of the search results in spite of the fact that HP has thousands and thousands of legitimate search results. When googling “MasterCard”, same thing, Facebook.com/MasterCard shows up on the first page of the search results, same for when googling “Nissan”, Facebook.com/Nissan is on the first page. The same applies when googling “Toyota”, “Honda”, “Crocs”, “Estee Lauder”, “Maybelline”, “Adidas”, “Reebok” etc., their Facebook Fan Pages show up on the first page of Google search results.

Once again, Facebook pages weigh more than most websites in terms of ranking eligibility. This is why it is strongly advisable to “crowd” all top search results with multilingual Facebook Fan Pages.

Act now before your competition does so and start ranking with your keywords just next or above your own website!

6. What will the name/URL of my Facebook Fan Pages be?

Facebook now requires +5 characters (Facebook.com/5charactersminimum). Lots of names are either taken or not available due to different Facebook guidelines. We always advise to pick a URL such as:

Facebook.com/NameOfWebsite

and if not available:

Facebook.com/NameOfWebsiteCom. Please note that “–” and “.” are not allowed in your URL.

Should you have a campaign in 5 languages, let’s take for example French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, we would advise you to register:

Facebook.com/NameFrench,
Facebook.com/NameSpanish,
Facebook.com/NameGerman,
Facebook.com/NameChinese,
Facebook.com/NameJapanese
, etc.

Anyway, when sending your company’s profile, you may give us as many Facebook.com/name options as you wish and we will register accordingly depending on availability.

Please note that the keyword relevancy of your Facebook profile is not based on keywords within the URL.

7. Can I be involved in selecting the appropriate keywords for the optimization of my Facebook Fan Pages?

As explained in our FAQ #1, we do invite you to share with us your keyword input. In most cases, it greatly enhances our ability to deliver better results on your behalf.

However, since keywords rarely translate literally, we will use your keyword feedback as a guideline only and conduct an in-depth keyword analysis for each language.

We advise you to read the following article titled “Keywords rarely translate literally”, which outlines our commitment to deliver full keyword accuracy regardless of the language or the industry involved.

8. Will I have access to upload my own stuff on my Optimized Facebook Fan Pages?

Your Facebook Fan Pages will come with full admin access allowing you to upload the material of your choice at your convenience.

Back to FAQs section

9. Are the translations performed by qualified native professionals?

We strictly employ native professionals working in their mother tongue. Our translators are all college educated and certified in their own field of expertise. We have secured partnerships with technical certified translators allowing us to serve the most intricate industries.

We do not believe in using software emulsions to produce translations which in most cases end up discrediting your corporate image.

Once again, when it comes to translations, we only work with native certified professionals, allowing us to guarantee terminology accuracy as well as cultural correctness. In fact, we do not translate the same way for Italian as we do for Chinese: we are very adamant about respecting the cultural ramifications involved with each language.

10. What are the most important languages aside from English?

In all cases, as a priority, we advise you to develop a Facebook Fan Page in English which is by far the leading language on the Internet.

However, when considering going global, you need at least one Facebook Fan Page in Japanese in order to have a true online presence in Japan, at least one Facebook Fan Page in Spanish to reach online Hispanic communities worldwide etc...

When it comes to foreign languages, we always advise to start with the languages reaching as many countries as possible: Spanish, French, German, Arabic etc.

However, as a standalone market, Chinese is by far the language featuring the the largest number of online users (although so many of them are being restricted in terms of access).

When considering the importance of a language, its relevancy may rely on a specific emerging niche market which you may want to reach i.e. Russian, Hindi etc.

We provide Facebook Fan Pages services in 30 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Czech, Traditional & Simplified Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese.

The world is your Oyster: Go global!

11. Is there any monthly/yearly maintenance fee? Is a truly a one time fee?

Our rates are based on a one-time fee basis (no recurring charge). Rates vary from US $325 to US $375 depending on the amount of languages.

Back to FAQs section

12. Do you provide translation services to post ongoing comments on the wall of my multilingual Facebook Fan Pages?

We provide translation services in all 30 languages which we offer. We usually advise to upload a small blurb on your multilingual walls on a monthly basis (although you have absolutely no obligation to do so).

Translation rates average to be $.15 per word/per language.

In other terms, let’s say that you have a Facebook online presence in 3 languages. Posting a 100 word comment on each foreign language wall would cost you 100 words X .15 = $15 X 3 languages = $45.

Once again, you could do this once a month or every other month to keep your wall “alive”.

Please note that our translation services are strictly available to our Facebook Fan Pages customers and/or Multilingual SEO customers only.
